Darrell “Rhythm” Whitaker – Hip Hop

Inspired by legendary dancers, Michael Jackson, Fatima, and Debbie Allen, Rhythm has established himself as a force on the dance scene. He’s worked with numerous mega-stars including Jessica Simpson, Will Smith, Backstreet Boys, Mary J. Blige, Neo, and Santana, among others. He also lent his talents to the cult dance hit You Got Served starring B2K andMarques Houston.

After laboring diligently in the shadows for years, Rhythm got his first big break with an Industrial for Reebok International. Now, he’s intent on sharing his talents through his new instructional video for children, Rhythm’s Hip Hop Sessions, which will educate kids about dance and fitness while encouraging them to explore the arts.

Currently, he’s working on the new website, HipHopDanceTV.com, a site that teaches dance for all ages. He’s also working on up-and-coming productions for Artificial Real, Untitled Dance Company, and major dance shows in Europe and Japan. A level-headed businessman, Rhythm is also striving to further his urban dance company, Dance Food Productions.
